Proof of Concept(POC) is used to demonstrate how the required functionalities would work as a single unit furthermore together with each other. It is a quick demonstration of crucial areas of requirements; it is not a complete fulfilment of requirements.
PoC can be used as a pre-sales phase and demonstrate customer to get clarity on the product. It is usually a quick and cost-effective solution. The key artefacts are interface, process flow, trigger, integration with related applications, security(roles) and many more. POC may contain one or more than one key artefact.
